I've never blogged before so here goes....
Nate and I are thrilled to announce that we expecting our first baby on September 26!! Today marks 8 weeks, 1 day and I'm feeling ok. There are so many changes going on that i can't keep up with them all! For the last 2 weeks, I've been feeling the morning sickness and nausea pretty much all day/every day but this week, I'm feeling better (thank goodness!)
In case you were wondering, we were planning on starting a family after we returned from a week-long "getaway" cruise we took with our friends in October 2010. We had a blast and little did we know, that would be our last trip as a 2-person family!! On January 18, 2011, i took a positive pregnancy test and that day will forever change our lives!! (note: i didn't believe the test at first, so i actually took 3 or 4 tests over the course of a couple days. obviously, they were all positive!)
We created this blog to keep in touch with our family and friends that we do not get to see often so please come back and look for updates on Baby D! I'm leaving you with a picture from our doctors appointment last week (7 weeks, 2 days)
